Lovely pics, Katie. Loves the rainbow.

Wonderful pictures. The rainbow was a nice touch on the castle picture. Everything looks so green and smooth.

Katie,
I'm sure you had a fabulous time on your trip. The pictures are beautiful. I would love to go to Ireland some day. I could've gone with the girls but that would have been $$$$$!!! So, I'll go another time. How did you pick those places to visit? Thanks for posting the pictures. Carol

Thanks Robbie for posting the pictures for me. It took me 2 hours to figure out how to transfer them to a program so that I could just send them, so I didn't have any time left to write my entry.

We had a lovely time in Ireland, it was very beautiful . Kevin knew a few divers that he and his friends jokingly refer to as the Irish Mob. Pat, lives in Blarney, which is near Cork Ireland. He graciously invited us to stay with him and his lovely wife and adorable puppy named Jimmy Choo. Pat took us sight seeing to the castle as well as a fort and on a lovely drive on the cliffs. He recommended, before we go back to Dublin, that we drive up to the Cliffs of Moher. It was indeed a grand sight to behold!

We flew from Dublin to Edinbourgh, where we toured the Edinbourgh Castle. It was fascinating. Then we drove into the Highlands which Kevin really enjoyed. The mountains there were lovely, and for Kevin, seeing as many Highland cows as he could was his goal. He achieved said goal!

We only had two days in London. There is plenty left there that I want to see. Kevin says he would visit Scotland and Ireland again but this country boy saw enough of London.

So, you managed to close your eyes for a picture? I had to go back and look at the rainbow after Robbie's comment. I hadn't noticed it w/o prompting.

Nice pictures. Y'all packed it in, eh? I will have to see Ireland for meself oneday.

Hey Katie! I went to Ireland for 2 weeks in May. What an awesome country. My first time going there and had so much fun. I found the people there are very warm and friendly, although the weather windy, wet and cold, but still pleasant. I went with a co-worker and some of her friends from AR. We traveled the west coast then inland visiting several castles, gardens, and pubs, to hear the local music. I truly fell in love with Ireland and can't wait to go back next year. We also went to the Cliffs of Moher and I just HAD to crawl to the edge to take pictures. That was a thrill! I wish I could post a couple of my pictures here, but my I am computer-challenged!
