Hope everyone had enough turkey and trimmings to keep them satisfied. John left to return to New Orleans(though experienced flight delays), I worked, Annie went to her boyfriend's and Zack hunted....kind of scattered for us. It was a cold 14 degrees this am. Hope you all had a great day.
Our temps were reversed: you were 14 and we were 41. We warmed up in the afternoon though and it turned out to be a very nice day. The little people were outdoors all afternoon, but most wore jackets. I think Jackson and Jacob were the only bare arms out there. Samuel loves following in their footsteps, inside and outside. There was a long piece on television about airlines and airports, travelers and flight delays. Sounded like a terrible mess to me. I'm coming up there next month but not close enough to Christmas to matter -- 7th through 12th. I don't think I'll have any trouble. Where is John staying this time? Tell him to call if he gets lonely. I talked to your dad the other day and got the lowdown on the knee surgery. Sounds like everything went as planned. Carol said she would probably go home today. I hope everything goes smoothly now; too bad about those stairs but he says he's got it all under control (the laundry, that is) and I'm sure he does. My dad rose to the occasion many years ago and my mother said he was more particular and careful than she was and was very proud of his snow-white items hanging on the line. Men can do so much more than we think. IF they have to. (This is just between you and me.)
Yes, it was very nice in Madisonville Thursday. I wouldn't have liked 14 degrees. :)
