Fun in the snow

Here are some photos of the fun we've had with the snow this past Christmas. Dan's brother and family were in town from CA. Though they live near the mountains and snow isn't foreign to them, they don't get to play in the snow often. The girls had a bunch of friends over for a sliding party and had a blast. It was fun to watch Kyoko as she experienced her first snowmobile ride and first time sliding. The one picture of Nicole and her cousin Amber absolutely cracked me up! They came in to get scarves ‘cause they were cold and when they came in, Nicole's glasses fogged up. It looks like some kind of joke glasses. Ashley was home from college for 3 weeks and it was nice to have her around. Now its back to school for everyone. Nicole and Kyoko went back to school yesterday; Ashley goes back this weekend. Back to the regular routine, (whatever that is). :o)

That looks like a lot of snow. Looks like fun but these pictures are about as close as I want to get to it. :) My knees ache just looking at it.

These are wonderful pictures. How pretty the girls are -- hope Hollywood doesn't hear about them!

Ha ha ha Rob. I'm sure you'd get used to the cold, as it doesn't sound a whole lot worse than your New Year's temp. I'm sure we're safe from the Hollywood talent scouts ;o)

Way too cold for me! Looks like fun for about 5 minutes though. We're heading back into the 70
s this weekend. Blessed relief!

I'll never forget the winter we spent a few weeks with y'all, in 1975, and our slide down your backyard hill. I don't know how many times I did it that first day, but it was enough to put me off it the rest of the trip. You had that last hump and then a drop to the lower level before stopping. I kept landing on the same spot of my behind, time after time after time. Though well cushioned, it became tender and bruised with the consistent pounding. Snow is fun. I guess you can tell we are wimps about it down south.
