Quidam: "a nameless passer-by, a solitary figure lingering on a street corner, a person rushing past. It could be anyone, anybody. Someone coming, going, living in our anonymous society. A member of the crowd, one of the silent majority. The one who cries out, sings and dreams within us all. This is the "quidam" that Cirque du Soleil is celebrating."
Quidam is my favorite Cirque du Soleil production mainly because of Audrey Brisson-Jutrás, the 11yr old girl who plays Zoé. Her stage presence is overwhelming for someone so young, don't you think? The featured clip is my favorite scene. Surely wish I could have seen this production. Enjoy.

We've been to 2 different Cirque performances,Dralion and Quidam(I think--quite the show. Do wish the singing was in English,it would help me a bit. We took the kids to both and we enjoyed Dralion best,so far. I'd love to see "O" in Las Vegas-have heard it's great.
I think it's mostly a made-up language, Nancy, although the lovely song in this video sounds French to my very limited linguistic ear. :)
Paul and I saw Mystere in Vegas maybe 10 years ago? I wanted to see Dralion when it toured here but didn't. I don't think they know how to do a bad show. I like watching the behind the scenes shows on Bravo also, the amount of time spent rehearsing daily and the energy it takes to put on a show like they do. Amazing.
I think this clip is from the Bravo series, too, Laura. I remember seeing it there first. I was pleased to see it on YouTube.
