Barrett was one month old on Monday, Feb. 25th. We wanted to take his picture in his swing but he was hungry and kept trying to eat his overalls. Stephen decided it would be best to take Barrett's picture in the bath to guarantee that his eyes would be open. We tried to make sure the pics were tasteful enough to share so I hope you all aren't put off by bath pictures.
Our boy is growing like a weed. Stephen brought home the wrestling scale before he went to referee at the State Wrestling Tournament last week and weighed Barrett. The scale read 8.5 lbs. We go to the doctor on Tues. and I cannot wait to see what they say. He is eating very well and filling out nicely, mainly in the cheeks. I now have to monitor the times when Stephen holds him and any visits from his Gigi and Popo (Sue and Scott) because they all have a tendency to bite puffy cheeks. Well, I'll let you all know what the doctor says.
Take care,
Kellie

Barrett Scott

He is SO cute, and honestly, we cannot get enough of him. Scott is transferring our VHS tapes to DVDs. We have watched a few while they are recording and it has been a lot of fun. On Wednesday, we watched one of when Bunk was around a year old. I am seen on tape biting his chubby cheeks. Scott was recording and commented, "There is the evidence, son, of your mother biting you!" Now that Barrett's cheeks are filling out so beautifully, they are very enticing indeed.
A perfect little boy. And a perfect big boy, I might add. I hope you keep this up, Kellie. It's fun to see the pictures and read the news.
He's really filled out! A beautiful little guy. Are you getting some sleep now? When do you return to work?
He is SO cute! He really has filled out. I immediately saw Stephen in him & then after looking at him for a while couldn't tell again. But my first glance was definitely reminded of Stephen, also a very pretty boy!!
I definitely see Stephen in him, and David too. He is precious and I can't wait to see him in person when we come for Easter! I'll have to leave the room with him so I can bite his little cheeks. They really have filled out.
He looks like a doll, so perfect and adorable.
Nancy,
Barrett is doing much better sleeping at night. He is sleeping 5-5 1/2 hours before he wakes up to eat so I only have to wake up once to feed him. He sleeps really well during his naps too giving me some time to get things done around the house.
I have to go back to work on April 15th. In the beginning that seemed so far away but time passes so quickly with Barrett here. Sadly, April will be here before I know it. Since I am a teacher, I only have to go back for 5 weeks. I will then have the whole summer at home with him before August. Family will be keeping Barrett when I go back in April so that we do not have to do daycare until August.
