Some of the birds HAVE gone missing, Carol. Our newest visitor is not the only one in the backyard looking for snacks. We also have hawks, owls, eagles, coyotes, and feral cats. They all have babies to feed, too, I suppose.
Our outdoor cat, Priscilla, WAS out during this episode, Nancy. She was totally oblivious to the visitor only 20 yards away or so. A little disconcerting to say the least.
