We have taken some fun pictures of Barrett lately that I thought I would share. He made his first trip to our neighborhood pool today and liked it okay. He didn't make a big fuss either way. He was really tired, I think from the getting ready process, and was trying to take a nap the whole time. Mr. Scott and Brianne were there to witness the big event. After Barrett spent a few minutes in the water, he took a nap in the shade with Mr. Scott while I tried to work on my tan with Brianne. All in all it went well. We got some great pictures of him wrapped in his rabbit hooded towel when we got home. I only put one picture of the model shoot thoough. It was really hard to choose which one because they are some of the best pics we have of him. I definitely want to frame one.
Many of the pictures are of us having fun with Barrett around the house. Stephen's face is priceless in the picture where he is holding Barrett in the air...with a birdseye cloth diaper! The things that bring him joy scare me to death! I also attached one of Flick in Stephen's "Foof" chair that I think is hilarious. The picture of Barrett in the Pack-N-Play is of him playing with the Busy Box that he got from Aunt Katie. I love how you can see him looking in the mirror. It is in his crib now and we love it!!!

Kellie -- You are doing such a great job of chronicling your life-in-the-day with Barrett. Hope you're saving them. The pictures are wonderful, clear and focused. He is such a cute baby. And Flick is great too. I'm glad you found out you can enjoy her as well as enjoy Barrett -- there's a place for everyone if you're willing to work at it.
Yeah, it has been a lot of fun but also quite interesting with Stephen and me both home for the summer. He has gotten pretty creative. Flick is being so well behaved though. I never dreamed I would enjoy a dog as much as I am enjoying her.
I just realized that I put the wrong picture of Stephen holding Barrett up in the air. Maybe I can get the other one we have posted. It is better.
