Bunk is striking out tomorrow for Louisiana where he hopes to spend the next year making his fortune on an oil rig like cousin Lars did last year. Everyone came over tonight (our family, Nonnie, Grandpa and Wade) to eat pizza and Special K bars and to send him off in style. We decided to take our Christmas card picture tonight just in case Bunk doesn't come home again before Christmas. It was determined that we would wear red or white for the picture this year. We took a few pictures when Kellie announced that she forgot she had brought something special for Barrett to wear in the picture. I was picturing a stocking cap just his size. She came out with him in what appeared to be a white shirt and then turned him to face us. It was a very exciting and wonderful surprise!

Kellie and Barrett

Great pics. Congrats, Kellie and Stephen.
That is too fun. What a fun way to tell everyone! Congratulations Stephen & Kellie. Here's hoping for a girl!!
Lovely. Wonderful pictures. And remember: eight is enough!
Thanks! The initial shock has set in and we are really excited to add another little one to our family. Barrett is going to be a great big brother and the two will be really close friends. :-) I'm hoping.
Oh, my hand position looks a little painful in that 4th picture. Oops!
Keep us in your prayers for another healthy pregnancy and baby!
WOW! What fun! Sue, your face is priceless! Congratulations Kellie and Stephen! I hope you have as easy a pregnancy as last time! Love , Aunt Katie
How exciting! My two are 18 mos. apart and now that Luke is 2 years old, I think how did I do it when Samuel was 2 and Luke was only 6 mos. old? You'll become very good at planning and organizing, and very efficient with one hand. It seemed like I always had one or the other in my arms when I was making meals, and I still have to carry both of them together down the stairs every morning- just call me Angelina. Now they are really starting to enjoy each other's company. When I drop Samuel off at school Luke keeps asking "Where Samuel going?" over and over. The first couple of months are challenging but once you get into a groove, it all becomes second nature. Go get yourself a good double stroller- you're going to need it!
Cute t.shirt. Clever way to spread the news. As for wishing for a girl Christina, I say who cares (as long as they are healthy) they all turn into teenagers anyway ;o) Carol
Hope "Bunk's" job goes well. Congratulations Stephen and Kellie--you will be busy. Zack and Anne are 16months apart. Here's to a easy pregnancy.
I enjoyed being with your family for the communal meals. What a harmonious bunch you are. Lose one temporarily and gain one permanently. Good luck with that, David. Take the job and run with it.
Congratulations and best wishes for a smooth pregnancy and delivery, Kellie (and Stephen). Barrett is so cute. I love his expressions. I am sure he'll be happy to share the spotlight with a sibling. You guys eat him up, or try to, literally. I've seen the teeth marks you all leave on his chubby cheeks.
Stephen & Kellie,
I am so excited for you - CONGRATULATIONS!!! I agree, who cares what it is, just as long as it's healthy and happy. Of course, I'm still pulling for a girl but another boy as sweet as Barrett would be nice too!!! Barrett has really grown in the last few months since I've seen him. He's still just as cute as ever!!!!!! I just love the YouTube video of him and Stephen. I've made everyone in my family go out to YouTube and look at it.
