Thank you Robbie for the birthday cake and thank you girls for the good wishes. It has started out very nicely with early-morning phone calls from Sue and David. Now I'm getting ready for a lady-lunch with Elizabeth and Janine at P.F.Chang's, and after that a quick visit with Angela. Janine will stay with her to help out a bit and Elizabeth will head across the lake with Samuel and Luke. They'll spend the night and then return tomorrow. Birthdays are okay, especially when they last for a week -- as mine usually does. Thanks again for remembering me.

Looking forward to seeing you today, Mama. So are Samuel and Luke. When I told Samuel that it's your birthday he wanted to know how old you are. Of course I told him that you're turning 30 this year. Isn't that what you always told us?
