I thought about you several times yesterday for your birthday. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!
JANINE,
Happy Birthday to you, also!
What a dreary time of year to be born! While I always hated being the youngest of my friends, September is a much sunnier month. I would take the heat over cold any day, especially now that I am in NO hurry to turn older each year.
Thanks, Elizabeth. I always liked having an early birthday. We've had our share of dreary over the many years but we've also had our share of quite pleasant like yesterday and today. In all, I think February 16 is a great day to be born. :)
Happy Birthday Rob and Janine! The 16th is a good day, John and I celebrated our 29th anniversary yesterday(dinner out with the kids). Did we celebrate your birthday when we visited for Mardi Gras all those years ago? It's dreary here too, gray skies, temps in the upper 20s and supposedly some snow in the forecast.
Thanks, Nancy. I don't remember celebrating birthdays while you were here but I suppose it's possible. If you came here for Mardi Gras AND your anniversary, then I'd say we must have.
Our birthdays (And your anniversary) aren't always near Mardi Gras. Sometimes the 16th/17th are after Mardi Gras and sometimes several weeks before. Depends on when Easter is and Easter depends on the moon.
I thought about you several times on Monday and yesterday but never got to the computer to say "Happy Birthday" to you, Robbie! I always thought March was the best month for birthdays- who doesn't like spring?!!
Five? There was a time I knew some of the cousins' birthdays but not any more. I remember Gary and Jeff Bye's birthdays are in May, the 2nd and 30th, I think, but I don't remember which is which. Who else is Aquarius?
My birthday lasted several days as it started on the 16th when I worked. Charmaine Neville and company commanded that I do a shot with them at midnight while they sang a funky rendition of "Happy Birthday". A B52 for those of you who don't know is a layered shot of Kahlua, Bailey's, and Gran Marnier. It was delicious. I tried to say "no", but when Charmaine says we do a shot, who am I to resist? I had to have two bottled waters and an order of fries after that. Plus, I still had to clean the bar and process the money and receipts at work. Getting older means being more responsible I have learned. I also no longer like looking like a fool, nor feeling like crap.
I know it's kind of late now, but I did think of you and wish you a happy birthday through the ethers, Robbie. Hope you treated yourself well. I bought myself a necklace and earrings and took the family out to dinner at New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood. I had my leftover catfish for dinner the next day. It was good.
Beth, in our family - Matthew, David'e son, turned 14 on Feb 14, and Kevin is on the 18th.
Angela's son, Samuel, is 4 today (23rd), but of course, that's Pisces.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, Beth, Nancy, Christina, and Carol.
As for birthday months, yes, Sept and October are best for a convalescing mother to sit outside with a jaundice newborm. :) Such pretty weather.
Carol, the card is lovely. Thank you very much. A letter or a call will be forthcoming soon. We are in full swing for Mardi Gras. I have taken on extra shifts at work to pay for the speeding ticket I got last week, and for the weekend trip Julia wants to take with her Beta club, and for the addition of Aaron to our insurance. That speeding ticket was unnecessary, I think. I need cruise control badly. Do you think a judge would be sympathetic to an ADD excuse? The sunset that day was so colorful. I love driving over the water, but hate the way it is aggressively mined with police. Do you think just once they could stop me and commend me for going the speed limit most of the time? Sheesh. I try hard to pay attention to that. $190 for nothing. It kills me.

Happy belated b-day Rob and Janine.
I was wondering just how many Aquarians we have in our family? I can think of 5.
