Happy Birthday, Brianne! Enjoy that salmon dinner your mom's making for you!!

Happy Birthday Brianne! Hope you had a great day. Are you on spring break with your mom & Kellie & Stephen?

Here's my 2nd attempt at a belated birthday greeting. The first got lost in cyberspace. Anyway, it had to do with wishing you a happy, healthy, and joy-filled year ahead, and a promise to take you to lunch or make you a dinner. It also mentioned how remiss I am in wishing you a happy birthday yesterday, though I did think of you often - just never got near a pc. I owe your brother, David, a sincere wish and a dinner. Before I owe anyone else, I should get off my l.a. and do something about your Mother's birthday. See, I do think about y'all. I mean well. Lazy, lazy.

Love,
Janine

Hi Brianne,

Just wanted to wish you a Very Happy Birthday. I thought about you yesterday but was not able to get to a computer. Just wanted to make sure that you knew that I was thinking about you and hope that you had a wonderful birthday.

Thank you! I had to work on my birthday While everyone else in the family was off! Unfortunately, I do not have spring break until the 20th of April. At least I'll have warmer weather! We took the CRCT Mon-Wed and I'm not sure who it was more painful for: me or my students. I wanted to elbow some of them in the back of the head or give them a good kick in the shin as I was walking around the room looking at their answers. I think some of them have been "out to lunch" all year.

I had a wonderful dinner, cooked by none other than my loving mother! We tried a new salmon marinade with honey, soy sauce, sesame seed, and this Housion sauce that we had to buy at the Asian mart. We also had special potatoes, asparagus, and a seasar salad. For the appetizer she made that Pampered Chef brie with the apricot and jalopenos that you spread on the toasted bread. Mom and I want to try the other brie recipes in the Pampered Chef but we love this one so much that it's hard to branch away. Finally for dessert, oreo cheesecake! Everything was delicious as usual!!! But I took my grade level a slice of cheesecake yesterday and they were so impressed. Apparently none of them are too fond of the kitchen and they could not believe that Mom made the cheesecake by herself and from scratch.

Aunt Janine, I'll take you up on the dinner next time I'm in town. I'm gonna go ahead and request stuffed artichokes!

Thank you for all the birthday wishes and cards! I'll see ya'll soon!

Brianna Banana -- I loved, just loved, the "good kick in the shin," and/or "an elbow to the back of the head" in passing through the aisles. Why not?

Your birthday lunch sounded supreme. Your mom really outdoes herself for birthday dinners, doesn't she? But listen, pass this on: I'd prefer not to do salmon, if she doesn't mind. If you think she would mind, say nothing, and I'll just eat around it and slip it into my purse when I can.

You said "see ya soon." Are you planning a trip to New Orleans. Jazz Fest or something like that? I hadn't heard. You know we welcome you whenever you come because we think you are the most special girl.

I just want to make a disclaimer that I know how to spell "ceaser" and that was a mere typo. Apparently my mother cringed when she read it thinking "surely she knows how to spell that"!!
