Last month we moved Samuel into the "bunk bed" room. Joey has been wanting to decorate Samuel's room with a hunting theme since the day he was born. I have held him off until now. I finally gave in and we got the camo bedding and added other little "hunting" attributes to the room. Samuel absolutely loves his room! We asked Candice to come back and paint a mural for his room (she painted our monkeys in the nursery). The mural came out beautiful!! We love it. She spent all day with Samuel by her side giving her directives about what he wanted in his room. She was so good with him! Joey had bought some stamps of animal tracks to put on the wall and my idea was to put our own little critters' tracks on the wall too. I think it's adorable and the whole room came out better than I could have ever imagined for a hunting room. Savannah is now in the nursery and Luke is in Samuel's old room which is pirate themed. After Luke saw the new mural he skipped down the hallway singing, "Samuel has a tree and Savannah has a tree, but not meeee..." I saw the writing on the wall of my poor little middle child's psyche and decided to ask Candice to come back to paint a tree or something for Luke. She has graciously agreed to come back one day next week. We are so grateful!!!

Samuel's new room

Gorgeous, Angela.
My poor God child...we both share the unfortunate fate of being a middle child. Soon he will be counting how many of his pictures make it into the frame compared to Samuel and Savannah!!
Cute, Cute, Cute. What a fun way to decorate! Lucy you to have someone creative enough to paint a mural. I'm sure Samuel is on cloud nine.:)
It's s'pose to say Lucky you not Lucy you ;o)
I just have to add my 2 cents worth. (Did you know the symbol for cent is absent?) The photos absolutely don't do it justice. I'm talking about Candice's mural. You can't see the alligator, the snake, the turtles, the flowers. People, you have to go to Angela's and ask for a viewing. It would be well worth the trip and I know she would love having you.
Angela: they don't outgrow the camo phase. We have a "boy" with camo bedding, deer mounts and antlers all over his room(and he's 20yrs older than Samuel!) Nice work on the animal tracks.
I heard how nice that came out. What a great room now! I pictured it dark, but it's not at all. I didn't know you have hardwood floors there. Very nice. Candice is so talented. And sweet to entertain an inquisitive boy.
