Joey went on a bow hunt with 10 friends last week. He shot a doe on the evening of the 6th day of hunting and then the next morning he shot this 9 point buck. It scored 135 and is Joey's biggest deer of his life. After 8 days of hunting he was the only one to kill anything. He said the guys had a great time and saw plenty of deer, but didn't get any in bow range in order to shoot. Now, he is just waiting for gun season to open at home on November 21st.

Nice deer!! Looks like you had a great time. Good luck next week---John and Zack start gun season on the 21st too. Bow season has been going on since end of Sept.

Nice deer! My dad would be impressed. He went somewhere up north to hunt last year and they didn't catch anything! I am glad you had something to justify such a long and lavish hunting trip! :-) As I was sitting here reading about your trip, Barrett caught eye of the picture of you and your fine deer and he jumped right up beside me and started pointing and saying "Deer! Deer!" He then started "blowing" or whatever you call it. His Popo has taught him what the deer says and he goes crazy with it. So you should know that Barrett was impressed as well.
