We got a late start and made too many stops today. The end result was we had to deal with a lot more traffic in and around the French Quarter, much bigger crowds, and full parking lots near the action. We ended up parking a lot further away than we wanted and we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked. It was cheaper to park miles away, though, so there's that. Turns out this was probably a blessing. Patsy's sister, Bobette, parked near the Aquarium and ended up paying $40 for event parking. We paid $7.
Gorgeous day. We set up our chairs under a shade tree at the Louis-Louis Pavilion, had some great food, and had a good old time. It was too short a time but we'll do better next year. Love that festival.

That looks like so much fun! Did you go back on Sat too?? Weather and venue looks just perfect. I'm so jealous.
No. we only went yesterday. One year, we may attend more than one day, Nancy. The weather was quite a bit warmer today but still very nice.
We didn't get to attend this year. I was all set to go on Sat. and the boys were going to come with us and then something came up and Phil had to work. I was so bummed out b/c Saturday was so nice. Missed my crepes!!
All three days were fantastic.
The crepes are now on their lunch menu, Christina. If you've never eaten at Muriel's, I highly recommend it. Make sure you ask for the tour. Glad we had Katie with us when we went. I'd have never known about it. The place is historical.
