Beautiful day for walking today---breezy,sunny and ~80! Rest of the week is supposed to be in the upper 70s. Interesting that people have the time and ambition for such undertakings.
Time, ambition, and money. He doesn't appear to be living off of the land. The ambition is the best part of it, Nancy. He's got a good ways to go but the distance he's walked already is pretty remarkable. It's a great story.
Taking the northern track was a good idea. If he'd have tried to make that trek through the deep south, the Louisiana and Texas heat would have killed him. :)
