The Ferrara children all remember Mrs Songy. Here is a lovely article about her. Lots of stuff there I didn't know. I'm not even sure I knew her name was Barbara. She was always Mrs Songy to me. She ran the cafeteria at O.L.P.H. forever. There was never any doubt about who was in charge in that place. She was big, brassy, loud, and she knew every kid's name. Nothing but fond memories here.
According to some friends on Facebook, she passed away Monday. R.I.P., Mrs Songy.
