A Web Journal Entry From Auckland, New Zealand
Good evening all, it's Fi from Kiwifruit here. It's 7.50 on Thursday night, which I know without a doubt is in the future for all CrapAppleLane readers. I tell you, it's strange living on the edge of the international dateline. When I travel I always lose parts of days, or in the case of travel to the States whole days. If I don't ever return to New Zealand what would happen to these days?
Anyway, enough rambling.
So, our host Rob's off on a family reunion huh? I hope he's having a fantastic time. I've never attended a family reunion but I've got a largish family, most of whom are scattered from one end of the country to the other, or reside in the UK, Australia or the States (a cousin in Boise, Idaho, and various distant relations in Florida and California, apparently). This makes the logistics of a get-together quite difficult. It's hard enough getting people you actually like to come all the way to New Zealand.
I have to say I really enjoy Rob's photographs of his garden. They really cheer me up as at the moment it's the middle of winter, rainy and windy and the garden's in hibernation mode. Come summer time I'll have to post some photos of the flowers in my garden to say thank you.
Anyhow, I'll sign off now. Thanks to Rob for inviting me to guest post and thank you for dropping by. Please feel free to come over and visit me at [shameless plug]Kiwifruit[/shameless plug].
Goodnight, or Haere Ra as they say here in New Zealand.

He's back. Thanks for helping out, Fi.
