Beautiful. :) It was warm enough there for a bike ride?

Rob said:

It was glorious, Kim. About 45º.

Lovely sunset, especially with the road sign silhouetted on the right and the wispy clouds.

I used the tree to block the sun, Dave. I also love the wispy clouds and blue sky, always the blue sky. The road sign is a little more clear in the 3264 X 2448 original and you can make out the name of the street.

Beautiful pictures, as usual, Rob. I love the Canada geese -- thanks for calling them Canada instead of Canadian, by the way -- in Whippoorwill Grove. It's been too short a time since I last saw a Canada honker, and too long a time since I heard a whip-poor-will.

Thanks for all the great posts and pictures this year. Merry Christmas!

Learned that from my favorite ornithologist, Kem White, about Canada v Canadian geese. And thanks to you for the heads up about whippoorwills. So concentrated on the Ps and the Os that I didn't notice the wh.
