There's more than a little buzz going on in Louisiana at present despite what this clown says. The reason is the BCS National Championship Game in New Orleans tomorrow night. Tickets are going for $650-$1995/ea at some sites but I've heard higher prices than that. I hope to post some thoughts on the game tomorrow.

I offer one from the CrabAppleLane backyard on this warm and muggy Sunday.

CrabAppleLane Backyard - January 6, 2008 - That green, green grass is growing right where my tomato garden is planted every year. Must be some leftover fertilizer they like. :) The Bradford Pear tree in the back is just showing off.

Quote of the Day
Near midnight on Bourbon Street I saw a drunk LSU fan reach into a clump of horse poop and pull out a handful of purple and gold-beaded strands. Geaux, Tigers!

Thanks, Kim. I have a lot of friends going to it. There are a lot of Ohio State fans in town, too, but they will be outnumbered.
