Tuesday Morning Quarterback - Week 10, 2011

Atlanta Falcons head coach, Mike Smith, is getting a lot of grief over his decision to go for the first down from his own 29 yard line in overtime.  To be fair, I thought that was the ball game.  By that, I mean I thought whoever prevailed on that play was going to win.  It was a bold decision.  Conservative call, though.  I also think the Saints win if he punts.  I don't think you give the Saints offense two chances to win the game.

The Dream Team is in serious trouble.  They'll have to sweep their final seven games to be in any contention for a playoff berth.  If they do that and don't get that berth, I think Andy Reid is finally gone from Philadelphia.  If they don't do that and there is no evidence to suggest they can, he's definitely gone.  Time to blow that team up.  They built a team to compete with the Packers.  Unfortunately, the Packers aren't on their schedule.  Should have built a team to beat the Cardinals, Giants, Bills, 49ers, etc...

At 0-10, the Colts are in pretty good position now to take the top pick in next year's draft.

The Baltimore Ravens are the AFC's version of the Saints.  Play a pretty good game one week and lay an enormous egg the next.

The Denver Broncos beat the Chiefs Sunday with Tim Tebow completing just 2 passes.  TWO passes.  Coach Rob sends that defensive coordinator packing.

The gushing over the Green Bay Packers is getting to be a little hard to take. I am almost prepared to start rooting for the 72 Dolphins.

So I picked this week to bench Larry Fitzgerald on my fantasy team.  7 catches, 146 yards, and two touchdowns.  Second dumb decision I've made this season.  The difference between 4-6 and 2-8.  My projected starting RBs, Peyton Hillis and DeAngelo Williams, have been bums all year.  I suck at this.

I lost my match to the only guy who could have beat me. My blunder of the week was picking up Marshawn Lynch because he's been having some good games recently and then leaving him on the bench because this week he was up against the Ravens.
